Rick brings many years of pioneering experience in partnerships with universities, having launched and managed US university operations for Shorelight Education as SVP of Portfolio Management ; as SVP leading the US division of Kaplan Global Solutions (university services); and co-founding and serving as GM of Kaplan’s Online Program Management firm, Colloquy. Rick holds a Masters of Public and Private Management (MPPM) from Yale University.
Vice President, Student and Academic Operations
Nadine has over 20 years of experience in the International Education field in Canada and the U.S.A. She has launched and grown programs in ESL, FSL (French), Juniors, Language Testing, and Higher Education Pathways. Nadine has served as a commissioner on the American Council for Continuing Education and Training and currently serves as president of EnglishUSA. She holds degrees from University of Toronto and McGill University including a Master’s degree in Education and Curriculum.
Simon is dedicated to applying business acumen to social benefit, serving both as CFO and as a board member to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Simon holds a Bachelors in Accounting from Western University.
Director of Recruitment
Dean has spent many years working with universities to recruit international students. He worked for Navitas, where he ran admissions, marketing and recruiting, and has worked at the University of New Hampshire and the University of Massachusetts. Dean holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Manager, Strategic Partnerships
Averie has over 7 years’ experience in business development and marketing for higher education companies. She is passionate about education and building successful partnerships, and her years of experience working with companies like Colloquy and Everspring have given her the expertise necessary to support ILSC GlobalFoundations’ mission and vision. Averie holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Kaplan University.
Director of Junior Programs
Andrew has been working with youth in arts and language education for over 10 years in directorship roles. Through his experience, he has had the opportunity to build and grow programming across North America and Australia. With a specialty in residential, university based programming, Andrew has worked with institutions such as UBC, U of T, Yale, Harvard and Columbia. Andrew has a passion for working with our young students and a mandate to provide unforgettable and transformative living and learning experiences.
Marketing and Communications Specialist
April worked as a journalist and editor at the Christian Science Monitor for 20 years, and then pivoted into marketing communications for higher education. She’s worked for Harvard Kennedy School, Wellesley College, Lesley University, and Education Development Center.
National University Pathway Director
Sonia is no stranger to the International Education Industry, having spent over 20 years helping students reach their educational goals - whether it be in language testing, general language skills or continuing their post-secondary education in North America. Drawing on that experience, Sonia now focuses mainly on building partnerships that provide students opportunities to further their educational goals as well as striving for programming that offers academic excellence.
